Regularly attending Master Classes by Elite Redken artists concentrating on color, highlighting, hair cutting and product knowledge, Behind the Chair webinars with Jamie Sea and Business of Blondes Seminar with celebrity stylist Kim Vo Jamie stays up to date on what's trending. She's had the opportunity to attend The Redken Exchange in New York City, The Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, NV and a hands on cutting class with 5 time NAHA winner Ruth Roche. Her parents took her on vacation to the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, CA when she turned 11 and that sealed the deal. She would beg her mom to take her to the salon so she could watch the stylists work. At just four years old, Jamie knew she wanted to do hair. Jamie Rowles has been behind the chair for 17 years. Adena's huge heart is also set on becoming more known in the community so that she can give back more and help other small businesses. In five years, her goal is to become a featured creative artist for Pulp Riot so she can be more involved in education and giving back knowledge to newer stylists or stylists that want to continue their education. She also loves nature walks, hiking, and exploring new places in the mountains with her little family. ![]() Adena's hobbies include painting, drawing, and creating art. Adena is a true artist being able to free hand and paint to really customize a look, and adding in small details like Hairline Painting and face framing to give the desired look a client is after. With her main value as a stylist being attention to detail it's no secret that her favorite thing to do behind the chair is Balayage. She is also Certified with Glam Seamless tape in extensions and Olaplex. Always continuing her education through Redken, Pulp Riot, and Amika training. ![]() Seeing the smile on her client's face when their new look is revealed, whether it's a makeup transformation, color, or a new style, fires Adena's passion. She chose this industry because she loves the creativity it holds and all things beauty. In five years she plans on being established in Raleigh with a full clientele, sharing her knowledge and experience with Pulp Riot education, focusing on growing her craft and making a connection with each client so that Pinup Studio feels like home to not only her but to her clients.Īdena Miller has been behind the chair for four years. With her favorite hobby being yoga, Heather also plans to become a yoga instructor in the future to deepen her practice and love of yoga. ![]() She loves being well rounded in each area to offer a broad spectrum for her clients. Before moving to Raleigh, her clientele consisted of unicorn hair, balayage, highlights, and long lengths to cute edgy cuts. Whether she is teaching or learning, Heather’s top value in our industry is education. She is also Brazilian blowout and Rejuvenol Keratin Treatment certified. She attended Caper each year as a cutting specialist or a Sales leader and traveled multiple times a year to attend training with Paul Mitchell Systems. Heather became certified Level 3 in Paul Mitchell Systems Color, Level 4 in Cutting, Level 2 in Texture and Level 1 in Makeup while she taught at the Paul Mitchell Schools. She’s been playing with her doll’s hair since she was just five years old and experimenting with color and cutting on her friends in high school before graduating early to attend cosmetology school. If asked why she chose the hair world she would tell you it was never a choice, it’s just what she was destined to do. Heather Jones has been in the hair industry for 10 years and an educator for eight.
